Context

The Asatru Europe Network needs a logo to reflect its values and identity. Our new logo will be selected by the board through a public competition  to ensure fairness and creativity.

Decision

The logo will be selected by open competition, applying the following rules:

Submission Requirements

  1. Deadline: Proposals must be submitted by IASC 2025 (25.07.2025) to board@asatru-europe.network.

  2. Format: Submissions must be vectorized (e.g., SVG, AI) for scalability.

  3. Colour Options: Include both colour and black-and-white versions for versatility.

  4. Theme: Designs should represent the network’s heritage, unity, connection, and values.

  5. Licensing: Unlimited usage license to be transferred to the Asatru Europe Network.

Selection Process

  1. Review: The board will evaluate all submissions.

  2. Announcement: The chosen design will be announced at IASC 2025.

  3. Prize: The winner receives public recognition, a 0.7l bottle of mead, and their design becomes the official logo.

Rationale

  • Inclusivity: An open competition allows all members to participate.
